Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Konczal has served as President of the Fund Manager since 1995 and as Director since 1991. Mr. Konczal also was Executive Vice President of the Fund Manager from 1991 to 1995. He is also President and Chief Operating Officer and a Director of Capital Alliance Holdings, Inc. (the parent of the Fund Manager) from 1984 to the present, which was formerly the Sierra Capital Companies. The Sierra Capital Companies managed and advised seven equity real estate investment trusts, four of which were listed on the American Stock Exchange and one institutional partnership which invested in commercial properties that were triple net leased to credit tenants.
Presently, Mr. Konczal holds the California Mortgage Loan Originator’s license. He has been a member of the Real Estate Investment Securities Association since 2010, and was a member of the Board of Advisors for Alliance Fund Managers, Inc. from 2009 to 2010. Mr. Konczal holds a B.S. Agricultural Economics, Michigan State University.

Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Aubrey has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Fund Manager since June 2000. Since 2012, Mr. Aubrey has also served as President of Capital Alliance Investments, Inc., an affiliated company that is licensed by the California Bureau of Real Estate. He was Senior Vice President of Capital Alliance Funding Corporation from 2000 to 2006. From August 1995 to June 2000, he was Executive Vice President and Director of Sierra Capital Acceptance.
Mr. Aubrey brings over 20 years of real estate lending/underwriting experience to the Fund Manager’s team. Mr. Aubrey’s relationship with Mr. Konczal dates back to 1995, when together they founded and managed Sierra Capital Acceptance Corporation. He has underwritten and sold over $250 million in loans in the secondary market.
He also serves as a member of both the endowment and finance committees for St. John’s church in Marin County, California. Mr. Aubrey holds a B.S. Finance, La Roche College, Pittsburgh, PA.

Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Sandell has served as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of the Fund Manager since April 2013. He is the founding Principal of Sandell Consulting, a firm that provides: Strategic, Financial and Management Services including advisory services to management and owners of large or medium sized companies.
Mr. Sandell is a business leader with over 25 years of experience in building and managing companies in the financial services, insurance, real estate and technology business sectors. Previously, he has held senior positions with Industrial Indemnity Financial Corporation and Crum & Forster Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Xerox. He was the CFO/COO of Cause Insurance Services, Inc. a cause driven insurance brokerage; the CEO of International Business Electronics Inc.; the Director of Financial Planning for Homestead Financial Corp., a $2.6 billion asset management company specializing in mortgage banking and the Manager of Budget and Planning at Fox & Carskadon Financial Corp., a $2.0 billion national commercial real estate syndicator.
Mr. Sandell holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tekniska Skolan Hässleholm, Sweden and an MBA with emphasis in Strategic Planning and Economic Planning & Control from University of Lund, Sweden.
Ms. Blanchard has served as Vice President of Business Development since 2016. Ms. Blanchard aids in retaining and expanding the company’s client base, plans and executes strategies to increase sales including company growth. Ms. Blanchard is a valuable resource for mortgage brokers, offering an array of mortgage solutions.
Ms. Blanchard brings over 12 years of experience from the mortgage industry to the Fund Manager’s team. From 2013 to 2016, she was the Mortgage Banking Branch Manager for Mortgage Service Professionals formed by RPM Mortgage, Inc.
Ms. Blanchard worked as a loan originator for Santa Cruz Home Finance from 2009 to 2013. She was responsible for all facets of mortgage transactions including quoting mortgage programs, terms and closing and obtaining completed loan application packages which met all standards of legal and ethical industry compliance. From 2005 to 2009, Ms. Blanchard was a loan officer for Tri-Star Home Loan Services.
Prior to her career in the mortgage industry, Ms. Blanchard was an entrepreneur and successful business owner.
Mr. Cross has served as Vice President of Sales Production since February, 2019. A passionate leader who thrives on building energetic and top performing sales teams, Mr. Cross brings a wealth of experience in Wholesale Mortgage Banking to his position as Vice President of Sales, Wholesale and Portfolio Lending. Since going into management 20 plus years ago, Mr. Cross has led his teams to consistently achieve top performance levels in annual production.
Prior to joining Capital Alliance, Mr. Cross held the positions of SVP and VP Division Leader for such industry giants as Freedom Mortgage, Stearns Lending and First Guaranty Mortgage, at which he successfully recruited top talent that contributed to market share growth of their wholesale lending platforms.
Mr. Griffith has served as the Controller of the Fund Manager since June 2019. As Controller, Mr. Griffith is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of departmental processes, general accounting operations, loan accounting, loan servicing, and cash management. Prior to joining the Capital Alliance team, he managed a $186 million loan portfolio as well as served as Assistant Controller at First Federal Savings and Loan Bank of San Rafael.
Mr. Griffith brings mortgage loan industry experience and a proven track records of success managing large portfolios. Mr. Griffith holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
